Bob Hebert is the founder and Managing Partner of StoneWood Group. Since 1981, he has helped firms across a wide range of sectors address their senior recruiting, assessment and leadership development requirements.
Bob also leads StoneWood’s CEO and Board practices, and devotes considerable time to developing and enhancing the firm’s tools and processes for such critical searches. He has also developed expertise in conducting executive searches for family- and owner-operated businesses. He consults and writes extensively on the issues that affect such organizations and how these must be taken in consideration when recruiting and making succession decisions.
Bob holds a Masters Degree in Industrial Relations (MIR) as well as a Doctorate in Adult Education (PhD), both from the University of Toronto. He lectures graduate students on senior-level recruiting and selection issues and methodologies.

Paul Hudson joined the executive search industry in 1996, working for a boutique executive search firm for a year before joining Russell Reynolds Associates. Prior to entering the executive search industry Paul had a successful career in the Canadian Forces as an infantry officer.
Paul joined StoneWood Group in 2002 and works with technology, financial services and not-for-profit organizations. He has significant experience recruiting technology executives and finance professionals for a variety of industries.
An active community supporter, Paul is a Scout leader and, through ICTC, coaches new Canadians through their first job searches in Canada. Paul is also a past board member of the Chamber Music Society of Mississauga, and the Mississauga International Children’s Festival.
Paul has a B.Sc. from the University of Guelph, a B.A. from the University of Manitoba, and an M.B.A. from Simon Fraser University, where he specialized in Human Resource Management.

Sal Rocco joined StoneWood Group in 1999 and has played a major leadership role in the firm’s growth and success. Sal’s practice areas include CEO and senior officer search work for companies in a wide variety of industries including the technology, industrial, consumer products and not for profit sectors. Over the years Sal has developed an expertise in helping businesses in transition align their senior leadership requirement’s with their strategic objectives. Sal’s effectiveness in assisting growth oriented private businesses identify and attract ‘best-of breed’ executive talent has earned him a reputation for getting results. Sal has undertaken more than 200 retained searches since joining StoneWood Group.
Prior to joining StoneWood Group, Sal practiced as a corporate and commercial lawyer with two leading national law firms, where he advised clients from multiple industries on a broad range of domestic and international business issues. This experience has proven invaluable to Sal's success in the executive search industry.
Prior to obtaining his legal degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Sal obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Schulich School of Business, York University.

Leigh Walsh has over 30 years experience in executive recruitment. Previously, he managed his own search practice under the name Snowdon Walsh Partners. Earlier in his career, he spent a number of years with AT Kearney Executive Search.
Leigh’s search activities have been in high-technology areas, with considerable focus on the telecommunications and wireless sectors. In addition, he has served clients in other sectors, including energy management, enterprise software and semiconductors. His client list includes service providers, product developers, manufacturers, vendors, consultants and systems integrators. They have included every model of organization, from large ‘blue-chip’ multinationals to small entrepreneurial start-ups.
Having spent a full career as a search practitioner, Leigh has encountered every trend and challenge, and developed, tested and validated his best practices in real-time. Leigh’s strength lies in his conviction that, in spite of the advanced state of recruitment tools and resources, there is no magic. The best results derive from exhaustive efforts coupled with a genuine understanding of the position and the client’s pain points.

Natália is an internationally trained lawyer, with postgraduate certificates in International Business Management (George Brown College – Dean’s Honor List), Small Business Entrepreneurship (George Brown College – Dean’s Medal) and Real Estate Law (Potifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro – PUC-RIO).
Natália is a dedicated professional with experience in the business development and legal fields. As a senior lawyer, she worked in the biggest Brazilian telecommunication corporation, under the Contracts’ Legal Directory, Bids, and RFPs Management, also acting as an ambassador of the company on a committee of a Brazilian Telecommunication Union. Natália is an adaptable open-minded professional, fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

Julie Mladenova joined StoneWood Group in 2018. She is a data-driven professional, specialized in recruitment using a variety of leading-edge technologies. Her search activities have been mostly focused on highly specialized niche recruiting markets.
Prior to joining StoneWood Group, Julie’s career took her to 2 continents and 3 countries over the last 10+ years. She has experience in human resource management, recruitment, compliance management, government regulations, and safety.
Julie is currently MBA candidate in Human Resource Management (2019). She also has an M.A. in International Law and B.A. in History. She is fluent in German, and English.
Juliana has over 10 years of experience in Social Media and Communications. She has Bachelors’ degrees in Journalism and Public Relations, and a postgraduate certificate in Marketing Management and Sales (Lambton College - Toronto).
As a senior communicator, Juliana worked in such recognized Brazilian companies as Petrobras, Microsoft, and Santander Bank. She is a versatile, dedicated professional, with extensive experience in Social Media and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Juliana is fluent in Portuguese, and English.
